Mindful Guided Meditation 01
The Appalachian Gurus Podcast presents a Mindful Guided Meditation practice.
Mindful Guided Meditations help support the health of our wellbeing, and bring us to be mindful about slowing down in the fast pace modern world.
Mindfulness meditation is a mental training practice that teaches us to slow down racing thoughts, let go of negativity, learn to sit still, and calm both our mind and body. It combines meditation with the practice of mindfulness, which can be defined as a mental state that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can acknowledge and accept your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment.
Techniques can vary, but in general, mindfulness meditation involves deep breathing and awareness of body and mind. Practicing mindfulness meditation doesn't require props or preparation. To get started, all you need is a comfortable place to sit, 15 to 20 minutes of free time, and a judgment-free mindset.
Guided meditation describes a type of meditation led by a teacher, in person or via audio or video.
This mindful guided mediation is a series of upcoming various mediation practices that we would like to introduce to our audience and community, as part of our vision for a wellness journey on this planet.
